Who said that disabled persons could not enjoy and just be stuck staring in the four corners of the room? 500 disabled athletes were gathered in the first-ever Paralympics in Canada to compete in the wheel chair curling and ice sledge hockey among other paralympic sports.

The "celebration for ability" was declared open by Governor General Michaelle Jean, Friday, March 12, 2010. The games were held in Vancouver and nearby ski resortss.
